Security Guard Requirements in Indiana

Indiana is a great place for pursuing a career as a security guard. The Indiana Private Investigator and Security Guard Licensing Board manages security guard licensing in the Hoosier State. Security guards in Indiana may or may not need to be licensed. However, one requirement is that your agency must have a license. Thus, it is up to the agency whether or not the security guard must be licensed.  Here are the security guard requirements in Indiana.

  • Provide a set of passport-style photos.
  • Also, provide a set of fingerprints on a standard FBI fingerprint card (Please note that the date on the card must match the date of hire).
