Perc Card Fingerprinting

Perc Card

Permanent Employee Registration Card

First, to become a security guard in the State of Illinois, you must obtain a Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC). The PERC Card tells employers in the State of Illinois that you’ve passed certain background checks.  Second, these background checks are through a Fingerprint Submission process. Third, you will not be able to apply for a security guard position until you have the Permanent Employee Registration Card. Lastly, keep in mind that you are not guaranteed a job! Hence, a PERC permits you to start seeking employment.
